Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the LUMIR application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid account holders.
2. Description of Service
LUMIR is an AI-powered wardrobe management and outfit recommendation platform operated by Lumir. The Service allows users to:
- Upload and organize clothing items in a digital wardrobe.
- Receive AI-generated outfit recommendations.
- Use virtual try-on features powered by AI image generation.
- Purchase credits, used to generate try-on renders.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform or its underlying AI systems.
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.
- Use automated bots or scrapers to access the platform.
5. Photographs and Likeness
Virtual try-on works by rendering garments onto a photograph of a person. Because that photograph is of a real, identifiable individual, the following rules are strict conditions of using the Service:
- You may upload a full-body photograph only of yourself. Do not upload a photograph of any other person unless you have that person's explicit, informed consent to use their image in this way.
- You must not upload photographs of children, of public figures, or of anyone who has not agreed to their likeness being used.
- The Service alters clothing only. It does not swap, replace, or modify facial features, and it must not be used to create face swaps, deepfakes, impersonations, or any depiction intended to mislead anyone about who a person is or what they have done.
- You must not use the Service to produce sexual, defamatory, or degrading imagery of any person, including yourself.
Your uploaded photograph and the renders generated from it are private to your account. They are not shown to other users, not published, and not used to train publicly available models. You may have your photograph and its renders deleted at any time by emailing support@thelumir.com; section 5 of our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what that removes.
We remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and we may do so without notice where someone else's likeness has been used without their consent.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, AI models, and technology within the LUMIR platform are the property of Lumir and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the clothing images and personal data you upload, but grant us a limited license to process them for delivering the Service.
7. Payments and Billing
Certain features of the Service require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete payment information.
- Authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method.
- Our Refund Policy as outlined in the separate Return & Refund Policy document.
Payments are processed through a State Bank of Pakistan licensed payment gateway. We do not store your full payment card details.
8. One-Time Purchases
Credits are sold as one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges and no automatic renewals, and we do not store your payment instrument. Credits do not expire and are consumed only when you generate a render.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated outfit recommendations will meet your personal expectations. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumir's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
